Garment Production Merchandiser
Conduct factory audits, follow up orders, and track quality to ensure on-time, quality-assured delivery.
Job Description
1. Conduct audits of new factories as instructed, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their hardware, software, and quality techniques; flag non-conformities, propose corrective actions, and implement inspection requirements at every production level.
2. Track and manage production progress across the entire process to ensure on-time, quality-assured delivery.
3. Track and manage product quality, conducting inspections during production, providing timely feedback, and handling quality issues; supervise factories to ensure standard-compliant production and arrange pre-shipment inspection.
4. Assist superiors with inbound, customs, and shipment arrangements.
5. Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Work location: Room 809, Building B, Minggu Technology Park, No. 7001 Zhongchun Road, Qibao Town, Minhang District, Shanghai
Requirements
- Japanese, apparel & textile, or related majors preferred
- Basic Japanese communication skills
- Production management experience in the apparel industry is preferred; familiar with woven/knit garment production processes and quality standards
- Team player able to handle a fast-paced work rhythm
- Able to travel frequently
